Pantheion AI

Product Manager — The Edge (Pantheion-Nano)

Abu Dhabi, UAEFull-TimeOn-sitePosted Apr 6, 2026
Edge AIEmbedded SystemsIoT PlatformsHardware OEM Management

Role overview

The Edge is Pantheion AI's most hardware-proximate product: Pantheion-Nano, a family of tiny, highly optimized Arabic/English AI models that startups and hardware manufacturers "bake" directly into IoT devices, mobile applications, smart city infrastructure, and sensor networks across the GCC. As PM for The Edge, you will define the product strategy, technical requirements, and partner ecosystem for Pantheion-Nano — building the embedded AI layer that makes GCC smart city ambitions real and powers the next generation of Arabic-native mobile experiences.

What you will do

  • Own the product roadmap for Pantheion-Nano — defining model size targets (sub-1B, sub-3B, sub-7B), capability benchmarks, quantization formats, and hardware certification targets for GCC IoT and mobile platforms
  • Identify and prioritize target use cases for The Edge: smart city sensor analytics, Arabic voice interfaces on mobile, edge intelligence for surveillance and security hardware, industrial IoT in energy and utilities, and connected vehicle AI
  • Define the commercial and licensing model for Pantheion-Nano: per-device licensing, OEM hardware integration agreements, and startup bake-in programme terms
  • Build and manage Pantheion AI's hardware partner ecosystem — engaging chip manufacturers (Qualcomm, MediaTek, ARM), smart city platform providers, and GCC IoT hardware OEMs to certify and integrate Pantheion-Nano
  • Conduct structured discovery with GCC smart city programmes (UAE Smart City Office, NEOM, Lusail City, Kuwait National Smart City) to understand embedded AI requirements and procurement pathways
  • Define the Arabic language capability bar for Pantheion-Nano: which dialect-aware NLP capabilities must survive aggressive model compression, and which can be approximated at the edge
  • Own the Pantheion-Nano developer experience: embedded SDK, C/C++ runtime libraries, hardware-specific deployment guides, and model optimization tooling for partner hardware teams
  • Track GCC smart city investment landscape and identify strategic embedding opportunities that position Pantheion-Nano as the default Arabic AI layer in UAE, Saudi, and Qatar infrastructure projects

Skills profile

Required skills

Required qualifications

Domain knowledge

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in embedded AI, IoT platform, mobile AI, or edge computing products
  • Strong technical fluency in on-device AI: model compression, quantization, hardware-aware inference, and the tradeoffs between model size and capability at the edge
  • Experience working with hardware OEMs, chip manufacturers, or embedded system integrators — understanding how software bakes into hardware products
  • Track record building and managing technology partner ecosystems: defining certification programmes, partner onboarding, and joint go-to-market motions
  • Arabic and English fluency; understanding of GCC smart city and digital infrastructure investment landscape
  • Experience designing commercial models for embedded or licensed AI (per-unit royalties, OEM licensing, perpetual vs. subscription)

Preferred qualifications

Bonus domain experience

  • Prior experience with smart city technology procurement in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, or Qatar
  • Familiarity with GCC IoT hardware ecosystem: connectivity standards, sensor types, and edge compute hardware prevalent in GCC infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of Arabic NLP at the edge — speech recognition, keyword spotting, and NLP inference within severe compute constraints
  • Experience with ARM, Qualcomm Snapdragon, or MediaTek Dimensity embedded AI SDKs and chipset AI accelerators
  • Network within UAE smart city programmes, NEOM, or GCC telecom and infrastructure operators
